$10K Reward Offered For Info In Shooting That Killed Minneapolis Grandmother
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with the May 26 shooting that killed a grandmother in north Minneapolis.
Birdell Beeks, 58, died after being hit by a stray bullet as she was sitting in her minivan with her teenage granddaughter. The incident happened at about 6 p.m. on May 26 near the area of Penn and 21st Avenues North.
Beeks was taken to North Memorial Medical Center, where she died a short time later. Anyone providing information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible is eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
