Man Killed In Minneapolis Shooting Identified

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man who was shot and killed in Minneapolis Monday night has been identified.

Darrell Montez Fischer, 22, of Minneapolis died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

Fischer was shot just before midnight near the 2700 block of Humboldt Avenue North. He was found dead in an alley, which was a block away from his house.

Another victim, who was found inside a home, was also shot. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

So far, police haven't made any arrests in the case.

They say it appears multiple people were shooting at each other, but they are still trying to sort it out.
