1 Dead After Head-On Collision With Semi-Truck In Yellow Medicine County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One person is dead after colliding with a semi-truck, head-on in Yellow Medicine County Friday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the victim was in a 1998 Ford Escort heading north on Highway 23. Officers say the driver, identified as 36-year-old Eduardo Ramos Jr. of Iowa, drifted across the center line and rammed straight into a semi-truck heading the opposite way.
The driver of the truck, identified as 34-year-old David Ebnet of Glenwood, suffered no apparent injuries.
The State Patrol is investigating the crash.
