A Georgia woman was arrested after authorities said a Florida Keys couple lost $6,500 in a Zelle scam involving callers posing as law enforcement officials.
Investigators say 34-year-old Nathan Guy posed as a landlord on Facebook Marketplace, advertising rooms for rent in downtown Miami.
The lawsuit alleges that Early Warning Services, Zelle's parent, failed to implement safeguards, enabling fraudsters to steal more than $1 billion.
