CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) – Three young girls, about 12 years old, took the witness stand Tuesday. They described their encounter at a safe place – their elementary school – with a man known to them as Mr. Mike.

Michael Jones is accused of committing horrific crimes against those three young girls.

Prosecutors said Jones was working as an after school employee at Forest Hills Elementary School in 2011 when he touched three girls inappropriately.

Jones is charged in three separate cases.

On Tuesday, the accuser in his first case told jurors what happened one afternoon while she and her classmates were watching a movie with Jones.

"He calls me to the back of the room and puts me on his lap and he puts his finger on my private area," she said.

The victim said Jones asked her a question.

"He said does that tickle?" she recalled him asking.

The victim said the first encounter lasted a few seconds, but then Jones touched her two more times.

She said Jones promised her tickets for rewards, she just had to promise not to say anything to her parents.

"I was scared and I was embarrassed," she said.

Prosecutors even showed a video recording of the victim, just 8 years old at the time, taken after the incident.

The video depicted the girl showing a detective what Jones did to her.

"He took my pants off," she said.

Jones has pled not guilty. His attorney said Jones will testify in the case and that the abuse did not happen.

The attorney also brought up that all the accusers received large financial settlements in civil suits from the accusations.

Later in the day, jurors heard from another victim.

"He said does this tickle?" she also said.

That victim told a similar story of Jones, promising her rewards tickets in return for her silence.

"He said don't tell nobody, even your family," she said.

Of course those children did tell their parents and Jones was arrested.

Jones faces a total of three counts in this case, including capital sexual battery.

He could face up to life in prison if convicted.

The trial resumes Wednesday.
