Weston Boy Recovering After 30-Foot Fall From Rock Wall

WESTON (CBSMiami) – A Weston boy is recovering in the hospital after he fell 30 feet from a rock climbing wall during his birthday party.

According to the Sun Sentinel, the 11-year-old boy fell from the Weston YMCA Family Center rock wall at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

The boy was flown to the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood.

He suffered multiple injuries, including broken bones. None of the injuries were considered life-threatening.

It is currently unknown what caused the fall.
