For six and a half decades, the Ceramic League of Miami has been one of the top DIY pottery spots in South Florida. Since opening its doors in 1950, Ceramic League of Miami has educated the community in the different aspects of ceramic art with its summer clay camps and classes and workshops. Its facility is equipped with "studios, wheels, a slab roller, an extruder, electric and gas kilns (including two raku kilns) and a fully stocked glaze formulation area." Annual memberships at the Ceramic League of Miami go as follows: Active ($125), Sustaining ($150), Associate ($45.00), and Friends of the League ($50.00 Min.).
