Miami Weather: Wet Weather Disturbance Could Cause Heavy Rainfall, Street Flooding
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The wet weather disturbance moving over South Florida Thursday afternoon has helped slow moving showers and storms to develop.
The main threat with these storms will be heavy rainfall in spots resulting in some areas of street flooding.
Storms fade Thursday evening but a steamy summery pattern will last through the weekend with highs around 90, feels like temps near 100, and mainly afternoon and evening storms.
There is rough surf at the beach and there is a high risk of rip currents. Swimming is not recommended. Gusty winds are also leading to hazardous marine conditions.
