Firefighters Put Out Blaze Near Dadeland Mall

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A large grass fire broke out in a nature preserve near the Dadeland Mall.
Firefighters spent about two hours trying to get the flames under control.
The fire came dangerously close to a row of some pretty expensive homes in Southwest Miami-Dade.
Firefighters say they will continue to monitor hot spots.
Investigators are trying to figure out what cause the fire.
