MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- An emotional, candle light ceremony took place Wednesday night as more than a hundred friends, family and co-workers of Laquito Alvin gathered at the site where she died.
Alvin was the bus driver killed Friday when she was caught between two buses at Miami-Dade's Northside terminal on 79th street and Northwest 32nd Avenue.
The 36-year-old mother of three had only been on the job six months but she touched many of her co-workers who came out to pay their respects.
"Its's still not registering she is really gone. I can't go on a bus without thinking she is going to be right behind me. She's coming. I really miss her," said coworker Petagaye Adams.
The county is still investigating the cause of the accident. Funeral services will be held this weekend.
