Body Found Inside Burning Miami Home
MIAMI (CBS4) - Miami firefighters found a body of man after putting out a fire in a vacant home early Sunday morning.
Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Lt. Ignatius Carroll said just after 2 a.m. they received a call about a fire in a home in the 500 block of NW 33rd Street. Arriving fire crews were met with heavy smoke and flames coming from the buildings boarded up windows and doors.
Firefighters made quick work of putting the fire out. During a search of the home, the man's body was found inside a room.
Carroll said they're working now to identify the man and determine how he died.
