Bicyclist Killed In Hit And Run, Miami-Dade Police Searching For Driver
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Miami-Dade police have asked for the public's help in finding the driver responsible for a deadly hit-and-run crash.
Last Sunday, 18-year-old Derek Betancourt was riding his bike on NW 47th Avenue near 196th Street when he was fatally struck by a car.
Investigators believe the car that hit him was a 2015 to 2018 black Mercedes-Benz C-Class and it most likely has front end damage.
