Claim Alleges Beverly Hills Cop Disturbed Scene, Commented On Whitney Houston's Naked Body

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A Beverly Hills police sergeant has filed a claim alleging a fellow cop disturbed the scene of Whitney Houston's body and made inappropriate comments hours after the singer was found dead in the Beverly Hilton.

In a claim Sgt. Brian Weir, a Beverly Hills SWAT supervisor at the time, said he tried to secure and preserve the scene when he responded to the call of the singer found dead in her hotel room.

Sgt. Weir alleges Det. Sgt. Terry Nutall arrived at the scene after a sheet had been placed over the singer's body to prevent contamination, and "knelt beside and leaned over the decedent, removed the sheet and/or other covering from the body...to an area below the pubic region."

The complaint goes on to allege Nutall then came close to touching Houston's body and "made inappropriate comments that the decedent 'looked attractive for a woman of her age and current state'...and said 'she's still looking good, huh?'"

In the complaint, Weir alleges he was removed from his position and harassed for reporting Nutall's actions. Nutall has since been promoted to lieutenant, according to Beverly Hills police.

Police were not conducting on-camera interviews Tuesday, but denied the claims in a statement.

"We are definitely refuting the claim, we haven't retaliated against him for anything. Lt Terry Nutall acted appropriately and properly," said Lt. Lincoln Hoshino. "We don't believe the investigation was compromised and stand behind it 100 percent."
