Dallas Based AT&T Offering Free Calls From US To France

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas based AT&T is making things easier for its customers to connect with family or friends in France is wake of the recent attack in the city of Nice.

The company says it will waive charges for calls from the United States to France from now through Sunday.

An AT&T statement says, "Our thoughts are with the people of France and our customers who have friends and family there. AT&T will waive or credit charges incurred for calls placed by AT&T's customers from the United States to France between July 14 to July 17 in the local time zone. This includes landline, texting, and mobility (Postpaid and GoPhone) calls. As with any emergency, text messaging is recommended due to the possibility of network congestion in the local area."
