One of my biggest pet peeves is when I see a person buried in his/her phone at a sporting event.
A perfect example of why you shouldn't be doing this took place in Charlotte at the Kings vs Hornets game last night.
Two ladies, sitting right behind the Hornets bench, apparently found a cell phone more interesting than watching the game.

Simply put, one of the ladies got drilled in the head with a basketball after a tipped pass.
