Woman Dies In Western Michigan Rental Home Fire
MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a woman has died following a fire at a western Michigan rental home.
Firefighters tell The Muskegon Chronicle that the woman was found Saturday morning in the living room of the burning house in Muskegon Heights. Efforts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.
A neighbor reported the fire about 7 a.m.
The home's owner tells WOOD-TV that the victim had been living in the house for a couple of years. Her name and age were not released.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
