Vail Police Search For Jewelry Store Thieves
Police in Vail are asking for help finding a couple who stole $30,000 worth of jewelry. The Lionshead Jewelers have surveillance video of the suspects.
Two men and two women went into the store Tuesday afternoon. While two of them distracted workers, another reached into the case and stole a necklace and ring.
Police aren't sure if the theft is connected to a series of overnight break-ins in at least five businesses this week.
Surveillance video from one of those crime scenes shows a white man dressed in black clothing who targeted cash registers and safes.
