Crews Burn Slash Piles In Snow Drifts After Blizzard
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- Crews are taking advantage of the recent snowstorm to conduct some slash pile burning. Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge burned some piles on Wednesday.
The arsenal is asking anyone driving through the arsenal to slow down when traveling past crews.
The U.S. Forest Service is also conducting pile burns in Pike National Forest. Those living in the area are urged to not be alarmed if they see smoke.
