Police Identify The 2 Waldo Canyon Fire Victims
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Colorado Springs on Thursday identified a 74-year-old man and 73-year-old woman who were killed in the Waldo Canyon Fire.
The remains of William and Barbara Everett were found at 2910 Rossmere Street, a house in the Mountain Shadows neighborhood that burned along with hundreds of others when the fire exploded on June 26.
Police said they are continuing to investigate the deaths.
The Everetts previously lived in Los Angeles and Phoenix.
A total of 346 homes were destroyed in the 18,247 acre wildfire.
