Mountain Lion Caught On Video In California Neighborhood
HOLLYWOOD HILLS, Calif. (CBS4) - A large mountain lion was recently spotted in a California neighborhood, and caught on video.
CBS LA reports that Jamie Hindlin was driving with two friends in the Beachwood Canyon area of the Hollywood Hills when they saw the large cat cross the street.
"We backed up, put the brights on and there was just this huge lion just staring us in the face," Hindlin said.
It was not aggressive or threatening, but Hindlin reported the sighting to authorities.
Some believe it may be the cat known as P-22, a tagged mountain lion who has been seen before in the suburbs.
Hindlin believes the cat she saw was bigger than P-22, who weighs about 150 pounds. She said she's concerned for small pets in the area.
