Shelter-in-place order lifted in Arvada after suspect arrested
Arvada police lifted a shelter-in-place order that had been effect earlier in the morning Thursday in the area of 54th Avenue and Cody Street.
Police said they were negotiating with a possibly armed suspect in a parked stolen vehicle. Later on, they sent a message on Twitter saying "The situation has been resolved - the suspect has been taken into custody."
