2 people rescued from an apartment fire in Littleton
South Metro firefighters have rescued two people from a fire that occurred in an apartment complex near downtown Littleton.
Firefighters were called to the Windermere Street Apartments on the 5500 block of Windermere Street. There are no injuries reported from the fire.
The two people rescued by firefighters were checked out by medics on the scene.
All 24 apartments have been evacuated, and building management is working with the City of Littleton to get people back into their homes as soon as possible.
