A body found in the Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve in west suburban Darien has been confirmed to be that of missing United Airlines executive Jacob Cefolia.
"That means 99.5 percent of United's U.S. employees have now chosen to get vaccinated, excluding those who sought an exemption," a United spokesperson said in an email.
United Airlines plans to fire nearly 600 workers who didn't get their COVID-19 vaccination shots by the deadline Tuesday.
It's the largest fine imposed by the government for extended delays.
It was unclear how many delays occurred, or if there were any related cancellations.
