Van Runs Over Hydrant, Crashes Into Dorchester Home's Front Steps
BOSTON (CBS) -- A van ran over a hydrant and crashed into the front steps of a home in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood on Saturday night.
Boston police were called to the Quincy and Clarkson streets area shortly before 8:30 p.m.
Police officers have taped off the scene after a dark-colored van nearly crashed on the porch.
A red sedan near the home also appears to have sustained some damage.
Investigators were still on scene around 10 p.m.
Police say the driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
