Toucher & Rich: Ray Lewis Makes Little Sense In New TV Show
If you were looking for an anger management coach, you could probably do better than Ray Lewis.
Yet somehow, the former Ravens linebacker landed a gig as the star of "Coaching Bad," in which he works with "nine of the angriest coaches in America" in an effort to control their rage.
Toucher & Rich recapped the first episode on Monday morning, and Lewis' first big speech -- as expected -- made little sense.
"Every moment ... every moment ... in life ... once you spend it, you can never get it back. So the question is -- why are we here?" Lewis said. "Why? Of all the things in the world that I could be doing, why am I here?"
"I'm here for one reason ... because I was molded good and bad when it comes to coaches. I got kids. I got kids. And I'll be damned, there's one thing I ain't gonna do. That's my duty as a father."
Huh?
This, of course, is not the first time that Lewis has had difficulty in making coherent statements.
You really have to hear Ray himself to know what this show is all about ... if you can figure out what he's saying.
"The only way a puppet works is how? That's the only way a puppet works!" Lewis said.
"Don't look at me," Rich said. "I have no idea what the hell he's talking about."
