Target Offering Gift Card Refunds For Fake Egyptian Sheets
MINNEAPOLIS (CBS) – Customers who recently bought sheets from Target may be owed a refund.
Target is now offering gift cards to thousands of customers who bought fake Egyptian cotton sheets.
Bloomberg reports that the non-Egyptian cotton sheets sold for as much as $75 under the Fieldcrest brand between August 2014 and July 2016.
Target blames its supplier, Welspun, a textile company based in India.
Refunds can be requested on Target's website.
