Storm-prompted ground stop at MSP lifted
A ground stop issued earlier at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport due to weather has been lifted, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The FAA website said departures from MSP were "grounded due to thunderstorms," but the stop is no longer in place.
The stop was prompted by a line of storms that was heading toward the Twin Cities from the southwest, WCCO Meteorologist Adam Del Rosso said.
