Sperry Selling New 'Jaws'-Inspired Shoe Line
LEXINGTON (CBS) – You're going to need a bigger shoe closet.
Lexington-based boat shoe maker Sperry is now selling a special line of "Jaws"-inspired footwear to celebrate the 1975 movie classic.
The sneakers and boat shoes sell for $70 to $85. One of the slip-on pairs has a swimmer on one shoe with a shark on the other. Another shows a shark creeping up on an oblivious swimmer.
Each pair of special shoes comes in a movie-themed box, along with blood-stained tissue and signs from the film, Sperry says.
