Prince George's Bathrobe Sells Out Immediately After Obama Visit
LONDON (CBS) – Parents who want Prince George's stylish bedtime look for their own kids are going to have to wait a while.
The young heir got a visit from President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama on Friday. The president and first lady were in the United Kingdom for Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday celebration.
While it may have been the queen's special day, it was George's bathrobe that stole the show. The monogrammed robe made by My 1st Years is described by the company as "fit for a price," and online shoppers seem to agree.
"We can't believe Prince George wore our robe to meet President Obama!" the company said on Facebook. "You guys have gone crazy for it & it's already sold out."
The company's website is still accepting pre-orders for the white bathrobe, which sells for about $30.
