Patriots Announce Preseason Schedule, With Home Games Vs. Packers, Giants
BOSTON (CBS) -- Football season is just around the corner.
OK, so it's not right around the corner, but it'll be here before you know it. And the Super Bowl champion-Patriots have announced their preseason schedule for 2015.
Preseason Schedule
Week 1: vs. Green Bay Packers
Week 2: at New Orleans Saints
Week 3: at Carolina Panthers
Week 4: vs. New York Giants
The times and dates of the games have not yet been set. The preseason games will air on WBZ-TV and 98.5 The Sports Hub.
The release of the preseason schedule doesn't bring the same type of excitement as does the regular-season schedule, but it is nevertheless something for football fans to look forward to in the six-month period without NFL contests.
The Patriots played both the Panthers and Giants last preseason, and their trip to New Orleans will feature Brandon Browner wearing his new Saints uniform.
The regular-season schedule has yet to be announced, but the Patriots' 2015 opponents are:
Home: Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Eagles, Jaguars, Redskins, Steelers, Titans
Road: Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Broncos, Colts, Cowboys, Giants, Texans
