Northboro Police Handing Out Flyers Showing Man Suspected Of Assaulting Jogger

NORTHBORO (CBS) – Police are handing out flyers with a sketch of a man wanted for assaulting a jogger Thursday in Northboro.

A woman was jogging on Lyman Street  Thursday morning when she says a man ran up to her and grabbed her from behind.

Police believe the man may have gotten away in a smaller dark colored car.

As police were searching the area for the suspect, a Westboro woman reported a similar vehicle circling her near Lake Chauncy. The woman told police she ran away as the car pulled up beside her.

On Friday, Northboro Police are stopping cars along Ridge Road near Talbot Road to hand out flyers with the suspect's picture in hopes of finding possible witnesses.

The suspect in the Northboro incident is described as Hispanic, 5'8" in his 30s, wearing khaki shorts and a black t-shirt.
