Westboro Deaths A 'Senseless Tragedy'
WESTBORO (CBS) -- Authorities are still investigating the murder-suicide of a husband and wife in Westboro.
Police found the bodies of 41-year old Rebecca Bibart and 43-year old Richard "Todd" Bibart in the couple's Thomas Newton Drive home Thursday afternoon.
The Worcester District Attorney's Office says Rebecca's body was found in the finished basement of the home and Richard's was found in an upstairs bedroom.
The couple's two young children were not home during the incident.
Alana Gomez reports.
A neighbor found a note taped to the door with instructions.
A man who just gave his first name "Scott," lives next door and said it was his wife who found the note. He said the note simply said to stay outside, take the children to the neighbor's house and left a cell phone number for their grandparents.
"Our kids played together almost every single day," said Scott, who says the couple had a 6-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl. "Becca was a very warm hearted person. She was loved in the neighborhood, she was a warm loving mother to the nth degree."
Scott's family and another neighbor took care of the children while police were called to the house.
Authorities confirmed the couple was going through a divorce. Their Thomas Newton Drive home is listed for sale.

WBZ News Radio's Karen Twomey reports.
Rebecca Bibart was a yoga instructor who taught classes at the Westboro Tennis and Swim Club. Management at the club released a statement Friday morning.
"Rebecca was a wonderful and very popular employee at Westboro Tennis and Swim Club. She instructed several yoga classes with the Club for the past couple of years and during that time established many friendships with Club members as well as fellow employees. Her presence will be greatly missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the children in this senseless tragedy."
Neighbors say Richard Bibart worked for a pharmaceutical company in Cambridge. He obtained his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1999.
Their two children are reportedly staying with relatives.
Authorities have not released the cause of death but say autopsies will be conducted.
