Daily Talker: Incentive To Move Closer To Work
Facebook wants its employees to move closer to work. So, the social media company is offering an incentive to get them there.
Facebook is offering at least $10,000 to move closer to their office which is about 30 miles from San Francisco, California.
To qualify, employees must buy or rent a home within 10 miles of the Facebook campus.
The company hopes this will alleviate the stress of commuting. But while the offer is generous and could help with moving costs, one report claims it won't do much in an expensive area where rents can reach around $3,600 a month.
What do you think of Facebook's offer? Would you accept it? What incentive would get you to move closer to work?
