Daily Talker: How Old For First Cell Phone?

BOSTON (CBS) - Parents have varying opinions about what the best age is for a child to have a cell phone.

A new survey shows many believe 12 is the acceptable age.

The survey, conducted by American Express Spending & Saving Tracker, comes just weeks before kids head back to school.

But in age of smartphones and social media, some may think 12 is too soon.
