Boston Restaurant STRIP By Strega Serves Up $75,000 Valentine's Dessert

BOSTON (CBS) --They say money can't buy you love. Thank goodness, because this dessert will cost you -- $75,000, to be exact.

You can find this pricey dessert at STRIP By Strega, an Italian steakhouse restaurant in Boston's Park Plaza Hotel.

The sweet orb is more than just a chocolate dessert. The cake inside is a chocolate and vanilla spongecake, and parts of the dessert are strewn with edible gold.

Inside is a 5-carat diamond solitaire ring, which could be perfect for your Valentine's Day engagement plans.

"It's a lot of time and effort that goes into it, such a special occasion," restaurant owner Nick Varano said. "Hopefully it will make someone very very happy."
