Big E sets new attendance records over the weekend
SPRINGFIELD - Record crowds spent the weekend at the Big E.
More than 177,789 people stopped by the fairgrounds in West Springfield Saturday, setting an all-time single day attendance record.
There was also a record set on Friday with 96,587 visitors.
The Big E is open through Sunday.
