Woman accused in fentanyl death captured after a week on the run in North Texas

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office says 35‑year‑old Lisa Mitchell is back in custody after a week on the run. Mitchell is accused of selling fentanyl to a person who later died of an overdose in North Richland Hills. Investigators say she bonded out of jail, then cut off her court‑ordered ankle monitor and disappeared. Deputies eventually tracked her down, and she has been returned to the Tarrant County Jail.
