Texas appeals delay of execution for man convicted of killing TCU professor
Edward Busby was found guilty of abducting Laura Lee Crane from a Fort Worth grocery store parking lot and then strangling her in 2004. He was set to be executed on Thursday, May 14, 2026, but the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has granted Busby more time.
