Spirit Airlines cuts more than 900 Texas jobs as financial troubles deepen
Spirit Airlines has shut down its operations in Texas, cutting more than 900 jobs across Dallas and Houston. The layoffs include 119 pilots and 246 flight attendants based at DFW International Airport. The company has been struggling financially and has not been profitable since before the pandemic.
