Rescue flights give displaced Hill Country pets a second chance

Following the Central Texas floods, Wings of Rescue, a nonprofit group, flew at-risk shelter pets from Kerrville to safety. The animals were relocated to make space for those displaced by the disaster. Some were sent out of state, while others were placed with emergency fosters in North Texas.
