Northeast digs out after historic blizzard as travel disruptions and safety concerns mount
Millions across the Northeast are still digging out after a historic blizzard dropped more than three feet of snow in parts of Massachusetts and nearly 30 inches in New York. In Manhattan, police say a large snowball fight turned violent, injuring officers. Airports across the region struggled to recover, with more than 2,000 flights canceled as crews worked to clear runways.
