North Texas church camp updates emergency plan after deadly flooding

A church camp in Glen Rose is revising its emergency procedures following recent deadly flooding in the Texas Hill Country. The camp, affiliated with the United Methodist Church and hosting about 300 people each summer, discovered its 24-page emergency plan did not include protocols for severe flooding. Camp leaders said they are now prioritizing camper safety by updating their emergency response plans.
