Mahjong fundraiser helps support child abuse victims in Dallas
A Dallas nonprofit that supports child abuse victims is preparing for its annual “Mahjong for a Mission” fundraiser, using the tile‑based game to bring the community together for a lighthearted event that helps fund services for children facing severe abuse, neglect, and trafficking. The Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center assisted more than half of the 25,000 abuse cases reported in the county last year, and organizers say the event offers a fun way to support an incredibly difficult cause.
