EF-4 tornado tears through Enid, Oklahoma, injuring at least 10

An EF-4 tornado roughly 500 yards wide tore through Enid, Oklahoma, on Thursday night, carving a nine‑mile path of destruction and reducing several homes to rubble. Search crews spent hours Friday combing through debris to ensure no one was trapped. Authorities say at least 10 people were injured, but no deaths were reported — a result officials credit in part to residents taking shelter before the tornado hit.
