Dallas keeps convention center design, declines raised structure
The Dallas City Council has finalized plans for the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and rejected a proposal to raise the building’s height. The council directed city staff to advance the project on its current design without delay, meaning the building won’t be elevated to allow traffic to pass beneath it.
