AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM/AP) — Texans wanting to vote early for next week's election are running out of time to make their advance choices.

Texas Secretary of State Carlos Cascos says early voting runs through Friday. The election is Tuesday.

Texans who wish to cast ballots, in early voting that began October 19, must provide identification that includes a photo.

Accepted forms of photo ID are a driver's license, a Texas personal identification card, a concealed handgun license, a military ID, a U.S. citizenship certificate or a U.S. passport.

Another valid ID is an election identification certificate, which is issued free by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
