Relatives Pay Tribute To Victims Killed In PGBT Crash

DALLAS (CBS 11) — A family is grieving the loss of three young women killed in a violent crash. It happened Saturday night when the victims' SUV fell more than 60 feet from the President George Bush Turnpike overpass near US-75.
It's hard to believe anyone could survive the crash, but investigators say the 28-year-old driver, Charqual McMath, was not seriously injured after her Chevy Tahoe rolled multiple times, then rolled off the President George Bush Turnpike falling 63 feet to the parking lot below.
Three passengers did not survive: 19-year-old Torneki McMath, 13-year-old Myaa Moore and 12-year-old Tyreana McMath.
"They say, she's dead, and I just burst into tears," Tyreana McMath's younger sister Jada Kelley said Sunday night. "But at first I didn't believe it. I blew up her phone and everything. She never answered."
Kelley considered Tyreana her closest sister. The 12-year-old's grandmother, Virginia King, says the girl they called "Tweet" was loved by many.
"We were just getting ready to plan our vacation to California," King said.
Family and friends held a candlelight vigil to honor the young ladies whose lives were cut short far too soon.
"I just want to tell my family to keep their head up, and she's still here. She might not be here, but she's with God in a better place," Kelley said.
Tyreana McMath was a student at Garland ISD, and Myaa Moore was a student at Dallas ISD. Tonight both school districts say they will have counselors available when students return to class on Tuesday.
