Rainy Start to the Weekend
I LOVE A RAINY NIGHT! – Can you name which year this Eddie Rabbit crossover hit became number 1 on the Billboard Chart?
We will have off and on rain overnight tonight across North Texas. There could be a few isolated thunderstorms but most of the thunderstorms will be located in our far southeastern Counties (Henderson, Navarro, Anderson and Freestone Co.) This is also where the most rain will fall tonigiht and tomorrow. No severe weather is expected just some heavier downpours especially south and east of Dallas.
I LOVE A RAINY SATURDAY – I don't recall this ever becoming a song, but we can expect a rainy Saturday. Off and on showers will continue throughout the day on Saturday. It will be a cool, damp day with temperatures staying in the upper 40s and low 50s all day.
SUNDAY SOME SUNSHINE – rain will finally come to an end across the region late Saturday and Sunday will feature some sunshine with temperatures on the cool side. A morning low in the 30s Sunday and highs near 60 in the afternoon.
RAINFALL FORECAST –
The heaviest rain over the next 36 hours will fall in SE sections of North Texas. There 1" to 2" of rain will be possible. Farther to the south rainfall could exceed 2".
