Overnight Storms Give Way To Dry Morning

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Strong storms should begin late Sunday night and move east of the Dallas, Fort Worth Area after midnight.

Clouds that draped over the region began to break up Sunday afternoon, causing the winds to gust out of the south at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. A Wind Advisory is in place until midnight.

A cold front will also push over the Metro area after the storms hit, causing lows to drop to the mid-40s overnight.

Expect a strong Northwest wind Monday with highs in the low-60s and plenty of sunshine. After the overnight storms, it should be a dry start to March.
