One Dead In Morning Accident
A man is dead and a child injured in a bizarre accident early this morning...in Ellis County. It happened just after midnight along Highway 77 at FM 55, just south of Waxahachie. Authorities say a man opened a pickup door while he was driving and either jumped out or fell out. He died at the scene. A second vehicle then hit that truck, and a child was injured. No word on which vehicle the child was in.
